 Re: BLACKOUT 7 -- 5/16/09
Wow. That is pretty much without a doubt was the best event Phase 3 has ever thrown. Everyone who made it out truly got to experience something magical. 1st we need to say thank you to James Taptap, you are a the one of the biggest assets to the Seattle scene, & am proud to have you as our friend, & have you working with us on these events. Thank you to Travis, Joe & Brian at Motor, who always do a great job, just next time we need at least 2 more bar tenders for 11-2am. Thanks to all the people who contributed to the production by making the chains, & getting them all hung up, I am sorry I don’t know all your names & I don’t want to offend anyone by listing the ones I do, & not the ones I don’t know, But never the less, you all help transform Motor to blackout. Thanks to Kreeper for all you work setting up the 2nd stage with Myk, it looked great! Thanks to Slick Rick for the use of his laser & projector for the 2nd room. Most of all, thank you so much to Eric, aka. RAKE FIGHTERS OF AMERICA, who once again took our events far beyond what anyone could have expected with a main stage set up that without a doubt will go down as the best stage production ever at motor. 2 huge projectors, 3 42” plasma screen tv’s, 4 motorized lights, with the assistance of Laser Envy’s always awesome laser. I can’t explain in words how much pride I felt seeing that stage, everything we have worked for over the last 3 years with Phase 3 events came to realization Saturday night. Thanks to all the local dj’s Kayzakey, Preston Young, Kreeper, Jason LeMaitre, Soulkid, Channel Surfer, Strongarm, Dowlz & Aksion who all played great sets & keep the party going all night long. Thanks to our guest, Mike Shiver, Dark By Design & James West who all tore it up. Thanks to Elvis & The EYE CANDY girls who were great all night long. Thanks to the all people who came out Saturday night to be a part of Blackout 7, I am sure it will not be an experience easily forgotten. Last but not least... Myk & Monkey, the two other people who make up Phase 3 Events, my right & left hand if you will, excellent job, its a privlage to work with you both. Nov 21 be ready for our next 16+ event, WHITEOUT 7, details will be announced in the coming weeks. For our 21+ Friends June 19th come join us for another night with Trance phenomenon Sean Tyas when he returns to Last Supper Club. Be sure to friend requst us on myspace to keep informed. http://www.myspace.com/phase3eventshttp://www.myspace.com/blackout4http://www.myspace.com/whiteoutseattlePhotos can be found on both the blackout & phase 3 page, as well as http://www.taptapproductions.com should have theirs up shortly.
